In 1998, the Fr Patrick Peyton Memorial Centre was officially opened by Bishop Thomas Flynn.
The club currently play in Premier B of the Mayo League. The club were promoted from Division Two on the last day of the 2009 season, with a 9-0 drubbing of Snugboro United B. Two Moy Villa players (John Judge & John Durkan) were named in the Mayo League Division Two Team of the Year for 2009 and the pair were also named in the Division One Team of the Year for 2010.
There is also a Moy Villa "B" team, who made their league debut in 2010, losing 1-0 to Crossmolina B, and will be playing in League Three of the Mayo League in 2012. The current squad includes Aubrey Mulherin, Chris Moore, Sean Garvin & Jason Gilmartin. Moy Villa "B" reached the Semi-Finals of the McHale Agri Stores Divisional Cup, losing to Ballina United 4-0 and exited the First Round of the Connacht Gold Cup, losing 4-2 away to Ballyhaunis Town. In 2011, Moy Villa B were narrowly relegated from Mayo League 2, after achieving promotion from Division Three a year previously. They reached the semi-finals of the McDonnell Cup in 2011, losing to Ballyhaunis Town.
The Mayo League presented Moy Villa with 3rd prize in Mayo Club of the year awards for season 2006. In addition Moy Villa received the 'Club of the Month' award for July 2006, and most recently won the Monthly Award in June 2009.
The current club committee consists of James Ruane (Club Chairman), Sean Garvin (Secretary, Public Relations Officer & Youths Chairman), and Martin Kielty (Treasurer). Martin Kielty was awarded the Mayo League's 2009 Club Secretary of the Year Award
On 1 July 2010, Moy Villa defeated Mulranny United 2-1 after extra time, to reach the final of the Tonra Cup. On Sunday 18 July 2010, Moy Villa defeated Killala 8-7 on penalties in the Tonra Cup Final in Milebush Park, Castlebar after the game finished 1-1 after extra time.
Moy Villa finished 3rd place in Mayo League Premier B in 2011, narrowly missing out on automatic promotion to Castlebar Celtic B, despite beating Premier B Champions, Bangor Hibs 6-5 in Attymass, on the final day of the season.
