The third edition was played in 1998 to memorialize the 60th anniversary of Atatürk's death. Fenerbahçe beat Beşiktaş 2–0 in the third edition. In the fourth and last edition of the tournament, Beşiktaş defeated Galatasaray 2–1 in 2000.
