Arthur Lowder was an English
footballer of the 1880s and 1890s who played as a left half
with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He joined Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) in 1882 from St Luke's, and made a total of 71 competitive appearances for them (scoring 3 goals), before retiring in 1891. He played in Wolves' first ever FA Cup
match in 1883 and in their first Football League match in 1888, and Lowder played for Wolves on the losing side in the 1889 FA Cup Final

Lowder was capped on one occasion by the England national football team
