Prior to this publication Morse was a producer of CBS Reports "Who Speaks for the South", "Clinton and the Law" etc. Replaced Fred W Friendly as executive producer. In 1969 helped found IBI (International Broadcast Institute) as executive director, originally headquartered in Rome. Morse died June 1, 1971 as passenger in an auto accident while attending an IBI conference in Yugoslavia.
