, he raised $1,000,000 for Bucknell prior to becoming its president.

Marts chose Eugene Farley to become the director of Bucknell University Junior College in Wilkes-Barre, who later became the first President of Wilkes College in March 1936.

On February 17, 1989, the Arnaud C. Marts Sports and Conference Center was dedicated at Wilkes College in honor of Marts.
