. It has eight elementary schools, three middle schools, one comprehensive high school, and other institutions of various types. As of 2007, it had nearly 11,500 students. In the 2010-2011 school year one elementary school, LaGrange, was shut down. It began use as office space in July 2011. The students instead go to Beekman, Vail Farm, and Overlook.
