As part of the Cedar Avenue Bus Rapid Transitway project, the transit station went under re-construction. On January 4, 2010, the station moved up a block up on Cedar Avenue, to the former Watson's property. A construction groundbreaking ceremony took place on April 14, 2009 and an opening ceremony took place on January 7, 2010.
