in 1998. Since then Anupam and his team have participated in around 85 projects for Bollywood in one way or another.
In 2011, Sharma and film colleague, Peter Castaldi, launched An Australian Film Initiative, which aims to market, promote and distribute Australian Screen Culture in emerging and non-traditional markets.
Anupam also heads Films and Casting Temple, a production, casting and consultancy company based out of Fox Studios, Sydney, which specialises in acting as Australian producer for high-profile foreign (particularly Indian) films being shot within the Australian locale.
In 2011, Anupam was selected as head judge on an SBS
TV series to air 2012. The four-part series, called Bollywood Star, follows the search for an Australian Bollywood star: an unknown who will go on to win the prize of a lifetime - a part in a Bollywood movie.
He has two children.
