On April 14 2010, Antwan was selected to the University of Alabama's "Team of the Decade". Before Training Camp, Odom was quoted in saying he was ready for the 2010 season, as he said the tendon was feeling better and he could run and be ready to play and start at 100%.
On July 29, 2011, Odom was released by Cincinnati.
Odom earned a degree in Human Environmental Studies upon completing his course work at the University of Alabama.
On March 15, 2011, Odom's home in Mason, OH (a suburb of Cincinnati) was severely damaged by fire.
Odom and his family were safe at his family's house in Cordova, Alabama at the time.
Local Mobile, AL news reports that Odom was shot in the upper thigh at at a home in Irvington, AL. The slug came from a 410 shot gun. Two shots were fired. The first hit a wall, the second strunk Odom. The shooting occurred at 4:30am on October 5, 2011. Tony Gildersleeve turned himself in and is in custody. Odom was treated and released from local hospital.

Odom is the loving father of four boys and a daughter. In his spare time, Odom enjoys fishing and hunting. He is also a NASCAR racing and pro-wrestling enthusiast.Odom earned a degree in Human Environmental Studies upon completing his course work at the University of Alabama.
