Early career

Siltala moved sixteen years old to Kuortane and started training with Finland youth national team. After one year in Kuortane he made contract to Finland league with Keski-Savon Pateri.

First season in Keski-Savon Pateri was 2001. He played in Pateri seasons 2001-2004. After that he made contract with Pielaveden Sampo which is one of the best teams in Finland league.

. Last season champion Sampo played his history worst season and drop before medal games. When half of the season was played Pielaveden Sampo rented Siltala to France pro league. He played end season in Chaumont team. Second season was good to Siltala and Sampo. They wash their faces and won Finland Cup Champion and Finland league silver. After the season the media chose Siltala to the Finland league All-Star team.
