The Archangels of Punishment

  • Kezef (angel of wrath and destruction)
  • Af (angel of anger and death of mortals)
  • Hemah angel of wrath, fury, and destruction.

Hemah governs the death of domestic animals and lives in the seventh heaven.
He is described as being 500 parsangs tall and made of chains of black and red fire.
(One parsang is equal to approximately 3.88 miles)
Hemah is on of the 3 angels of Gehennal along with Af and Mashit. Hemah punishes
those who sin by idolatry, incest and murder. In the Old Testament, Hemah swallows
Moses with the help of Af. God forces Hemah to spit Moses out, then Moses kills Hemah.
