and he was son of Benizelos Rouphos

family of the politics in Patras. He was elected three times in parliament. In 1899, he was the voted councillor of the city of Patras
and ran for the Roufiko Party along with his brother Athanasios Kanakaris-Roufos
in which he was also councillor. He died somewhere in the 20th century.
