, for 13 episodes and was slated to premiere late 2002. It was also announced that the new spin-off was to feature new looks for the two characters .

The next official word on this series was in a press release for All Grown Up! in September 2002, which it was announced that it was now a series of 4 episodes, and there were also known to be complications involving the planned animation designs for the characters . With the success of All Grown Up! (which was actually supposed to begin after this series), the spin-off was forgotten until May 2005, when K-C announced that it had completed the "first" 4 episodes, and was planning on releasing the episodes with the upcoming Rugrats: Tales From The Crib DVD

For a brief period of time in 2008, Pre-School Daze was put back on the air on Nickelodeon on weekend mornings, showing all of the episodes once, and then it was taken off the air again.
