Ang TV also known as ATV is a "gag-variety" show for kids in the Philippines. The show's format was inspired by its predecessor "Kaluskos Musmos" (a popular Philippine kiddie gag show in the '70s aired over RPN-9) and its foreign counterpart "The Mickey Mouse Club". Prior to 1992, Director Johnny Manahan enlisted a group of multi-talented kids (& pre-teens) to create the first ever gag-variety show for youngsters in the Philippines.
