The last novel he's in is the Empire of Gold, in which he is killed. The second most important side character is Macy Sharif, who first appears in The Cult of Osiris, who's an young archeology student. She's described as stunningly beautiful therefore in some cases in the books she uses her beauty as part of negotiations if they're needed. And there is also Matt Trulli who is an Australian oceans specialist. He sometimes appears in the books as a person who helps Nina and Eddie get out of trouble. The help given by him is mostly in the water (as he helps them using submarines, boats etc. of own making or design).
