At the age of 14, he was introduced to professional boxing. Tete's debut in the ring was one year later crowning his first victory, which subsequently led to an illustrious boxing career of which he competed internationally and have held him numerous titles with a continuous winning streak. In his professional career he fought 56 matches, of which he have gained numerous titles of which a world title.
