He became mayor of the city of Agrinio for three terms, 1925 to 1934 and from 1951 to 1952 when he died. He was one of the most important mayors and between the works in which he did and the complements of the street plan of the city, the paving of the city and the construction of a water tower in 1930, the finances of the uncovering of the ancient city of Agrinio, the owning of the public marked in 1932 and in that time, Agrinio was electrified for the first time. For his actions in general as a public leader and he was one of the five founders of the Municipal And Communal Union Of Greece. He later became a politician.

He was later named himself a central road of the city and in the square, features a monument in front of the city hall. It still have a preservation of their leaders of his family.
