), Andrea fell in love with the sport of boxing and went on to become a quarter finalist in the New York City Golden Gloves http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/06/nyregion/06boxing.html. She retired from her amateur boxing career shortly thereafter at the behest of her agents and manager.
Andrea is the spokesperson for the popular Australian fashion designer, Susie Mooratoff. Together they are currently developing a personal development/cook book along side health, fashion and beauty line entitled The Superfood Heroes(www.thesuperfoodheroes.com).
Andrea previously modeled under the name Xoqui Pesce (ˈzoʊki pɛʃ), which is a combination of her mother's maiden name and an alternate spelling of the Aztec legend Quetzalcoatl

Early life
Andrea Leon was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, to an Ecuadoran father and Uruguayan mother. She spent her formative years traveling between Australia, South America and Canada with her family. While in Ecuador, she won several beauty pageants. However, at the age of six her parents were forced to leave the country as political refugees and moved to Toronto, where she began studying at the Young People's Theater.
