Local people typically know Sena and call it Ban Phaen . Its city boasts a clocktower in the center of town, which has a clock on all four sides. Also, there is a weekly temple market on Tuesday nights, where countless vendors can be seen selling everything from puppies to mobile phone accessories to movie and music posters at a discount price. There is a coconut shop across the street from the temple market, which was formerly known as Mukda Shop that sells fresh coconut drinks. The former family who owned the coconut shop has recently sold it to a young couple.

There is also a secondary school known as Senaprasit School that features yearly Sports Days - three days that fall between Christmas and New Year's. The students dress in various themes that represent Thailand and walk around the school grounds. There is also a march from the center of town to the school. For three days the students rally and play competitive Thai sports.
