History

The Ramblers entered the league when it was known as the Metro Valley Junior Hockey League in time for the 1968-1969 season. The league, then a junior B league, was eventually renamed the Maritime Junior A Hockey League

The Ramblers have been known by two different names over the years. They have been called the Amherst Mooseheads from time to time. The logo consisted of the letter "A" and the moose from Moosehead
