The show began airing on June 4, 2004 and was loosely patterned after Discovery Channel's successful American Chopper

Relatively free of interpersonal drama, episodes have included a behind the scenes look during rock concerts, slot promotions, blackjack tournaments, weddings, and other events.
One episode followed memorial events after the sudden death of Michael Tata, one of the shows subjects. Tata, 33, died of an accidental fentanyl overdose
