Alvaro Beltrán is a Mexican

, who was the #1 player that season. Beltran suffered a serious knee injury prior to the 2009-2010 IRT season and was only able to compete in the last IRT event of season. Yet in that event, the Mexico Open, he reached the semi-finals.
