Cricket Club

Alvanley Cricket Club, established in 1884, runs four senior teams and four junior teams ranging from under 11s to under 18s. At its high point in 2000, the club came fifth in Division One of the Cheshire County League

, but it has since been relegated.

Alvanley Cricket club won their first piece of silveware for 10 years back in 2009 the t20 tournament
however they have just missed out on promotion in back to back seasons.

The Juniors are always in the NCJCA friendly league last year the u13's were most successful by winning 12 and losing 3. This year the u13's have been entered into the cheshire county league. Alvanley has a 1stX1 2ndX1 3rdX1 indoorX1 oaksX1 under 9's under 11's under 13's under 15's and under 18's
