Allen County Conference

The Allen County Athletic Conference (ACAC) is an eight-member Indiana High School Athletic Association
(IHSAA) conference
. Although its name implies that it is only in Allen County, it involves schools from Adams, De Kalb, and Wells counties as well.
(Adams Central), Allen
(Carroll, Heritage, Leo, Woodlan), DeKalb
(Eastside), Wells
(Norwell), and Whitley
(Churubusco) Counties. The conference went to a two division format in 1971 with the addition of Homestead
and Southern Wells, new schools formed by consolidation. That format ended in 1975, and since then the conference has been between seven and nine teams, with the current lineup's only change since 1989 being the addition of Garrett in 2005.
