All Star Family Fortunes (series 2)
Encyclopedia
The second series of All Star Family Fortunes
began on ITV
on 27 October 2007. It is scheduled for a ten week run. It runs every Saturday night with the exception of the last two episodes of the series which are scheduled to air on 25 December and 5 January 2008 respectively. Although the last episode is to air in January 2008, it can still be counted as part of the 2007 series.
The series opened up with Coronation Street
actress Kym Ryder up against Big Brother
winner Brian Dowling
. In the Big Money round, Brian was asked "Name a type of bean?", after initially saying "baked", which was already said by his friend Kris, he then said "lesbian." The producers displayed the answer as "Les Bean."
vs. Eamonn Holmes
Week two saw popular TV presenter Holly Willoughby
facing famous breakfast TV host Eamonn Holmes
and his clan of brothers. When asked to name something a woman does to make herself more attractive, to steal, Eamonn first mentioned a new wardrobe then followed with sexy underwear, it still turned out as the third most popular answer. For the second consecutive week, no prize money was awarded in the Big Money round. All four rounds saw the top answer to each question found first, gaining the family control of the board. The Willoughby family found their top answers in the first three rounds before the Holmes family got theirs in the final round.
vs. Antony Worrall Thompson
Former Coronation Street
actress Angela Griffin against famed chef Antony Worrall Thompson was this week's battle which finally saw the first family to win the Big Money round in this series. This was also only the second time the top money was won after Jimmy Osmond
had achieved the same feat in the first series, which was also in the third week of the series in that year.

vs. Zoe Ball
It was a battle of the girls this time around. Ex-EastEnders
actress, and now The Bill
actress Louisa Lytton
was up against TV presenter Zoe Ball
. In Big Money, Louisa was asked to name someone you would call in an emergency, she said her mum, and ironically, despite losing the round, it still contributed 18 points to her final score. Doubly ironically (considering she's now in The Bill), the top answer was Police.
vs. Kyran Bracken
The two celebrities this week were former England rugby player Kyran Bracken
and Emmerdale
star Sammy Winward
. The Big Money round this week saw the highest amount of points scored in the first set of answers as Kyran's sister, Louise, scored 181 points from her five answers, considering that in the first Double Money round, she answered Lightning Man to the question, name someone who works in the dark.
vs Stephen Mulhern
This week it was the turn of popular children's TV presenter and magician Stephen Mulhern
and TV host Kirsty Gallacher
. In a surprising event, Stephen's family won the game on the final Big Money when Stephen answered "Private Parts" to the question, name something you keep in your trousers, and it turned out to be the remaining answer on the board.
vs. Ben Richards
Competing against each other this week were GMTV
presenter Jenni Falconer
and The Bill
actor Ben Richards
, who also starred in Footballers' Wives
.
vs. Edith Bowman
Another all-girl battle this week, as former Emmerdale
actress Claire King
faced BBC Radio 1
DJ, Edith Bowman
. One of the missing answers revealed in the second round of Single Money (the question was Name a game you play in Bed?) was PlayStation, to which host Vernon Kay responded, "Have we been surveying the nunnery?" and also added, "I've got better things to do with my hands in bed."
