but played only 13 times in the amateur team. After only half a year Chvalovský returned in January 2001 back to Blšany where he was again the first goalkeeper. In 2003 there seemed to be a possible transfer to the French side FC Rouen
which finally failed.
In 2005, Chvalovský was signed by the Cypriot
club Apollon Limassol
. During his first year in Cyprus he had a great season; his team won the championship unbeaten in Cyprus and he was voted player of the year in Cyprus for the 2005–06 season.
