Alexander Hamilton Church (1866–1936) was an English

 efficiency engineer and author. He became known as one of the pioneers in reducing the commercial organization of factories to the basis of a science, a work in which he was associated with J. Slater Lewis. His writings include:

  • The Proper Distribution of Expense Burden (1908; second edition, 1913)
  • Science and Practice of Management (1914)
