The Visual and Performing Arts Academy

The Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) is a small learning community which focuses on the creative and performing arts. The academy offers coursework for motivated students who are interested in the development of their specific talents. Their intent is to provide academy students with a strong academic program that will prepare them for entry into an artistic careers in the creative and performing arts. During their four years VAPA students should plan to participate in 4 credit hours in theatre, dance, music or art courses. While we recommend honors and Advanced Placement courses, all students are also invited and encouraged to participate in the International Baccalaureate Program . Academy faculty and counselors will work to help ensure student success.

Visual Art Center

The Visual Art Center (VAC) offers students a broad perspective of the fine arts and deepens their understanding of the opportunities for art-related careers through exposure to art history, contemporary artists and artwork. This rigorous and comprehensive program, directed toward portfolio development, enables students to realize and achieve their full potential in visual art. Lessons consist of lectures, demonstrations, slide presentations, studio activities, assigned research and group critiques. Most graduating students study fine arts or commercial art at a higher level.

Einstein S.T.A.G.E

Einstein S.T.A.G.E is a Cappie Gala nominated drama company,also part of the VAPA.
