. He has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level.

at 17 and was a regular in their reserve team during the 2007–08
season, scoring seven goals. He made his debut for the senior team as a substitute in the League Cup
against Grimsby Town in August 2008 and his first start followed in the FA Cup
victory against Blyth Spartans in January 2009. He signed a new contract to tie him to the club until June 2011 before joining Championship
club Plymouth Argyle
on loan at the end of January for the remainder of the 2008–09 season.
Near the end of the 2009–10 season, whilst still on loan at Plymouth, Judge intimated that he will be leaving Blackburn Rovers at the end of the season as he believes that he is not in the plans of Rovers' manager, Sam Allardyce.

's team. He scored his first goal for the club against Burnley
in March 2009 and followed that up with a well-worked goal against Coventry City

He returned to Blackburn and featured regularly for the club during pre-season, including friendlies against Italian giants AS Roma and Portuguese side CD Nacional
before rejoining Argyle on loan for the duration of the 2009–10 season. Since then he has continued to feature regularly in the first-team and has added another three goals to his tally, against Derby County

in October, and Doncaster Rovers
in November, four days before his 21st birthday. He scored his first double in senior football with two goals in an impressive 4–1 win over Reading
. However his work for Pilgrims could not prevent them from being relegated.
. His loan finished on January 1, 2011. However County re-signed the player on a initial one-month loan so he would be available for forthcoming matches whilst a permanent deal was finalised. On 14 January 2011, Judge completed a permanent move to Notts County signing a 2 year deal with the club. However just days after signing permanently, against Hartlepool United, Judge broke a metatarsal bone in his right foot. After a 7 week spell on the sidelines Judge returned to action against Swindon
. He scored an equaliser before setting up Lee Hughes to give Notts County the three points.
