History

Formed in 1996 by Alan Jones, Alan Jones Racing was a team that lasted only two years, it ran two cars in its first year, two Ford EF Falcons for Alan Jones and Paul Romano using the Numbers #201 and #301,Allan Grice and Andrew Miedecke were the two endurance event drivers alongside Jones and Romano.
In 1997 the team only ran a single car for Team boss Alan Jones, this time it was an EL Falcon using the number #9, Jason Bright was the Endurance Co-Driver with Jones, after this Jones sold he team to Ross and Jim Stone.
