A.P.O. Akratitos is a football club that plays in the Athens amateur division in Greece
.
The club rose from the lower ranks to the top flight under the stewardship of Yannis Pathiakakis, who in 2002 died on the pitch during a training session. The stadium was subsequently named after him.
Akratitos spent 3 seasons (2001-02 until 2003-04) in the greek Alpha Ethniki before being relegated in 2004 after losing a relegation match against Ergotelis which took place in Thessaloniki. In 2005 Akratitos were re-promoted to Alpha Ethniki.
In the 2005/06 season, Akratitos finished last in the table, and were later demoted to the fourth-tier for irregularities. They had the lowest average attendance, with only a few hundred.
It also had a low attendance record in the first division in a game against Egaleo FC
, which was only attended by 16 fans.
