  • Aki Takajō joined AKB48 after the AKB48 3rd Generation Research Girls(6th Gen)Audition
  • On August 23rd, she debuted in the concert "Live DVD wa Derudarou kedo, Yappari Nama ni Kagiruze".
  • On October 19th, she appeared in the AKB Theater Performance for the first time as a substitute for Kojima Haruna in the A5th stage, "Renai Kinshi Jorei".
  • 71 days after her theater debut, on December 29th, she was promoted to Team A (It was the fastest promotion in AKB48)

2009年
  • She was ranked number 23 in the "AKB48 13th Single Senbatsu General Elections" held in between June and July, and acquired a spot in the Undergirls song

2010年
  • She was handpicked for the first time to be a Senbatsu member, for the 16th single "Ponytail to Shushu"
  • She was ranked number 13 in the "AKB48 17th Single Senbatsu General Elections" held in between May and June, and acquired a spot as a Senbatsu member
  • As of June 28th, she formed the sub-unit, "French Kiss" together with Team B's Kashiwagi Yuki and Team A's Kuramochi Asuka
  • On September 8th, French Kiss debut single, "Zutto Mae Kara" was released
  • She was ranked number 8 in the "AKB48 19th Single Senbatsu Janken Tournament" held on September 21st, and acquired a spot as a Senbatsu member

2011年
  • She was ranked number 12 in the "AKB48 22nd Single Senbatsu General Elections" held in between May and June, and acquired a spot as a Media Senbatsu member
