of Bahrain. All of the Al Khalifa monarchs of Bahrain are descendants of Ahmed ibn Muhammad ibn Khalifa. He is commonly referred to as Ahmed al-Fateh (Ahmed the Conqueror) for conquering Bahrain.

. When Ahmed became the ruler, he also conquered Bahrain. The family lost Qatar in the nineteenth century. Now they rule Bahrain.

He had four children and they were Abdulla, Salman, Mohamed and Yousif.
