In 2003, Adstream delivered its first television commercial in Australia using its proprietary and purpose-built digital delivery network. It now claims to have a large share of the Australian TV advertising digital delivery market.
In 2004, with further investment from Telstra and Sensis, Adstream started an expansion plan with a number of deals including the acquisition of Quickcut and the establishment of a new international entity, Adstream Holdings. Adstream entered the European market via the United Kingdom, building a digital delivery network and launching a system that allows the British TV clearance regulatory body (Clearcast
) to clear every TV commercial in the UK, online.
Late in 2006, Adstream acquired the UK-based Traffic Bureau, a company that provides administrative services to the ad industry including government clearing services, training, talent management and reformatting.
The company continued to expand into Europe, Americas, Asia, Africa and Middle East. In 2011, the company counts 26 international offices, with locally based personnel.
