Noted for his anthemic power pop tunes, wild guitar style and his passionate live performances, Holder was the focal point of the band. The Moment achieved a degree of underground notoriety through one memorable album, The Work Gets Done, and a series of singles, including "In This Town", "One, Two They Fly", and "Ready To Fall". In 2006 he released his first recording since The Moment: his song 'Goodbye Tuesday appeared on the Biff Bang Pow Records compilation album, 'Shimmy'.
In 2008 he released a collection of home recorded demos as a self-released CDR, titled The Whistleblower.
He lives in Dusseldorf
