, however the races were overshadowed by the death of Archibald's team-mate, David Jefferies

Archibald then moved to AIM Racing Yamaha
for the 2006 season, but when Ryan Farquhar
got injured at the Cookstown 100 races at the end of April, he moved back to the TAS Suzuki team, after the North West 200
races.
For 2008 Archie is riding and running his own team and is planning of doing more races than he has done in years. He believes that he still has enough fight to win another international road race and running his own team this year will rekindle his winning ways.
