A generation is missing, looking at the death date and the birth date. Adolf II of Lothringen lived 1002 - 1041 and Adolf I of Berg lived of 1078 - 21-07-1160 . Herman II lord of Saffenberg is supposedly the son of Herman I of Lothringen and his brother is Steffan Saffenberg (abbot of Prüm 993-1001)
