In 2000 Braun began moving "sideways" and back to her first love of popular music. Since then she has been active on the Canadian scene as well as in the U.S. and Europe as a jazz/cabaret singer. She has recorded four CDs: "Delishious"(2003); "The Rules of the Game" (2005); "Live at the Metropolitan Room"(2008) and "Canadian Scenes I" (2010) - all of which are on her own label "Blue Rider Records". Her brother Russell Braun is an operatic baritone and her brother Torsten is the founder and lead singer of the rock group "Defective by design".
