Adelaide of Rheinfelden

Adelaide of Rheinfelden (1060s – May 1090), was a Queen Consort of Hungary; she was the daughter of Rudolf of Rheinfelden and Adelheid of Savoy; wife of King Ladislaus I of Hungary.

Life

Adelaide was born in the 1060s. Hungarian sources put her birth at around 1060, but this is in doubt due to the fact that her parents' marriage took place in 1066.

Around 1078 she was married to King Ladislaus of Hungary, who by marrying her agreed to support her father in his struggle against Henry IV, Holy Roman Emperor
