The junior ones have done and are doing Phd and postdoctorals in renowned Universities throughout the world. The University has commenced to produce quality graduates,of which some are undergoing postgraduate education in Europe and North America. The university was rated as the best state university in academic teaching in Nigeria by the Nigerian National University Commission (NUC) in years 2004 and 2005.
