ActivePath is a company that develops 2-Way Email Banking Systems that enable banking customers to securely communicate and conduct alert-driven financial transactions via email. ActivePath's email solutions are designed for use by retail banks, card services companies and other organizations that are involved in e-business transactions, such as healthcare firms, insurance companies and government agencies. ActivePath’s headquarters are located in New York City, NY.

- Account alerts and notifications with embedded options for taking relevant action. For example, an alert notifying the customer of non-sufficient funds could include an embedded option to transfer funds or take out a loan to cover the overdraft
- Payment reminders sent to customers on the appropriate date with embedded payment option
- Electronic statements that are sent to each customer's personal email address
- Special offers and discounts to targeted customers
- Marketing-oriented emails sent to selected customers based on account-triggered events, e.g. after a large deposit
