Abu Jafar ibn Atiyya
Encyclopedia
Abu Jafar ibn Atiyya was a writer and vizir serving four Almohad sultans. He produced a manual for writing official letters which continued to be adopted in both Al-Andalus and the Maghrib during the following centuries. Some of his own letters are preserved by historians of the Almohad dynasty.

He is not to be confused with Abd al-Haqq ibn Attiyya, the theologian from Sevilla.
