. Abu Dhabi Mall comprises more than 220 stores, including a Cineplex, supermarkets, a large hypermarket (Abu Dhabi Co-Operative Society) as well as a large food court. In addition to the food court, the mall has 40 international food outlets and restaurants located throughout the multi-storied mall.

Abu Dhabi Mall, which officially opened 15 April 2001, covers a total area of 200,000 sq meters and is owned by Abu Dhabi Trade Center, (property of His Highness Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan).

The mall is located on the eastern side of Abu Dhabi

, and is connected to the 5-star Beach Rotana Hotel. It has a large food court which has up to 40 different food franchises.

The Abu Dhabi Mall's shops include children's, women's and men's fashion stores, make-up and perfume, music, soft-furnishings, household furniture, electrical goods, gifts, health-food, pharmacies, confectionery, dates, sportswear, books and stationery including the grocer Abu Dhabi Co-op.
