Abbas Ather is a noted Pakistani journalist, writer and poet.

Abbas Ather was born in Lahore (Pakistan) in 1939. He was educated in Sargodka and Lahore. He worked as a Journalist and took his place as a prominent modern poet. He was start his career with "Daily Anjam" in 1964. Presently he work with Daily Express
