A Region A is one of the four regions in Group A of the Virginia High School League
. It is made up of four districts: the A/AA Eastern Shore District
, the A Northern Neck District
, the A Tidewater District
and the A Tri-Rivers District
. All the schools in the region lie east of the Fall Line, which roughly extends from Washington, DC to Richmond, Virginia
