The film was shot on Super16 in studios and locations in Melbourne during September/October 2004. Since screening to cast and crew at the Capitol Theatre in March 2005, A Black and White World has been selected to screen at various international film festivals including Brisbane International Film Festival (Australia), Telluride Film Festival (USA), Palm Springs International Festival of Short Film (USA), Manhattan Short Film Festival (USA), Calgary Film Festival (Canada), Cardiff Film Festival (Wales), and Flickerfest (Australia). In 2006 the film will screen at the US Comedy Arts Festival (USA) and Boulder International Film Festival (USA).

A Black and White World has also recently been selected to be archived in the Australian National Film & Sound Archive

Synopsis
