ANCOLD is the Australian National Committee on Large Dams. It is an association that sets national standards in relation to large dams and their environs. It is affiliated with ICOLD, the International Committee on Large Dams.

By international convention, "large" dams are those that are 15m or more in height, although a dam over 10m qualifies if it has particular features such as large storage or specially difficult foundation conditions.
