AFL Queensland is the governing body
of Australian rules football in Queensland
. It was formed in 2000 after the previous governing body for the sport in Queensland, the Queensland Australian Football League (QAFL), went into voluntary liquidation. AFL Queensland now administers the sport of Australian football in Queensland.

However, the AFLQ State League Grand Final was once again played at the Gabba in 2005, marking the centenary of the first Grand Final played at the ground when City defeated Valley in 1905.

Location
The league's offices are currently based at Leyshon Park Yeronga.However, the AFLQ State League Grand Final was once again played at the Gabba in 2005, marking the centenary of the first Grand Final played at the ground when City defeated Valley in 1905.
