 and Latvian TEN-T road network. The length of A4 is 21 kilometer. Currently A4 has 1x1 lanes in all its length. In 2011/2012 period half of A4 will be reconstructed, and its planned that around year 2014 widening of the road to 2x2 lanes will start. Because of this, it would receive an expressway or motorway status, and the current 90 km/h speed limit would be raised. The average AADT of A4 in 2010 was 8618 cars per day.
