Biography

He was born at Malappuram on 15th March, 1965 as the son of Shri. A.P. Balan and Smt. K.L. Devaki.He started his political career through the Kerala Students Union

in 2004. He was re-elected to the Legislative Assembly in 2005 and 2011. He was the member of Executive committee o f Kerala Agricultural University during the period of 2002-04 and also the Students welfare committee chairman. Smt. P. Praseeja is his wife and they have two sons.
